About the Program

The University of Alabama, together with a statewide advisory committee, is pleased to announce a new conference on attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder. This three-day, Southeast regional conference is planned to bring together a multidisciplinary group of experts to share their research and interventions on ADD/ADHD, and practitioners to share their best practices.

Conference Goals:
The conference is designed to:
• Disseminate diagnostic and educational    assessment strategies so that early detection    and appropriate services are    provided for    individuals diagnosed with ADD/ADHD.
• Exchange information regarding access to    community services, educational    legislation,    academic approaches and eligibility for services.
• Educate professionals about agency collaboration,    transition services, evidence
   based practices, assistive technology and    behavioral interventions.
